Biography
Chemical Engineer and PhD in Materials Science, with extensive experience across industry, academia and public administration. Formerly with ACCIÓ – Catalonia Trade & Investment, where she served as Team Leader for Technological Opportunity Analysis, supporting companies and institutions in strategic innovation, technology intelligence and the assessment of emerging technologies.
Her professional background includes senior management positions in industry (Quality, R&D and Innovation), a long academic and research career at the University of Barcelona, participation in numerous national and European projects, and authorship of more than 50 publications in the fields of materials science, chemistry, innovation and technology.
She is currently an Honorary Member of the European Chemical Regions Network (ECRN) and serves as an Independent Expert in the Working Groups of the EU Critical Chemical Alliance (CCA), contributing to European industrial and chemical policy from a regional and place-based perspective, with a focus on chemical clusters, critical sites, decarbonisation and the modernisation of hard-to-abate industries.
