In this space we want to give visibility to the main protagonists of Expoquimia: the companies that form part of the rich ecosystem of the Spanish chemical industry.

The renewed Expoquimia model has aroused the interest of the main companies in the sector, with more than 150 exhibitors confirming their participation seven months before the event is held.

We have collected the opinions of some of these leading companies in the sector that support the project to announce the new features and innovations that will be unveiled at the next edition of the show, from 30 May to 2 June 2023.

Daniel Campo, BASF Sales Director for Spain and Portugal

Expoquimia is the most important event in the chemical sector in Spain and one of the most important in the world. On the one hand, it is a meeting point for the entire value chain, from basic chemical producers to customers in sectors such as the automotive, cosmetics and fashion industries, who transform our products until they reach the consumer; and on the other hand, Expoquimia is a place to visualise the future. Chemistry will play a role in the energy transition and on the road to sustainable development, and the technologies that will make this possible will be at the centre of the show.

Joan Roget, Vice-President and General Manager of ITW Reagents – PanReac AppliChem

We have participated in Expoquimia in 18 editions and uninterruptedly since 1971. During these 52 years, the world has changed a great deal, incorporating new forms of communication and relationships between companies and people, which have been particularly emphasised during the pandemic. This has given added value to personal contact at trade fairs such as Expoquimia. The importance of face-to-face meetings with customers and stakeholders has been reinforced, increasing the quality of strategic negotiations and enabling a deeper understanding of the needs and opportunities for collaboration with industry players. The Expoquimia environment facilitates dialogue with our strategic stakeholders, which contributes significantly to establishing the basis for the business development plan in the medium and long term.

Josep Maria Quintana, Director of Esinsa

Expoquimia is a key event where all the companies in the sector, potential customers, sales agents, distributors, suppliers, etc. meet.  At Esinsa we seek to give visibility and disseminate our range of products, show where we have innovated and the latest advances in the sealing sector. Bridging the gap between what is currently on offer, the future and market trends.

Jordi Puig, Managing Director Telstar

In Expoquimia we’ll give visibility to the latest generation of Telstar process equipment in the field of laboratories, hospitals and R&D centers. The objective is that the potential users of these centers have the opportunity to learn first-hand about innovative solutions in equipment and integrated systems for sample preparation, handling and freezing processes, as well as laboratory freeze-drying.  Telstar works closely with scientists and researchers to provide state-of-the-art equipment and services to improve research and development processes in life sciences laboratories.

Likewise, participating in Expoquimia is an opportunity to learn about the concerns of customers and industries in the sector, promote the exchange of knowledge about the current situation and market trends, as well as analyze and reflect on the evolution of the sector.
