The Chemical Industry in the National Industrial Strategy: Decarbonization, Resilience and Competitiveness
The Director General for Industrial Strategy and SMEs will present the foundations of the National Industrial Strategy and the key relevance of the chemical sector. The role and actions of the Ministry of Industry in supporting decarbonization, strategic autonomy, and the competitiveness of the Spanish chemical industry will be explained, in the context of a complex and constantly changing geopolitical environment. The enabling role of chemistry as an essential lever for the transformation and strengthening of Spanish industry as a whole will be highlighted.
