Biography

Chemist and Six Sigma Black Belt with more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Founder of QBD PS consulting in 2015 to support the pharma sector in projects related to quality and process improvement. Member of the Board of Directors of ISPE Spain since 2011 and leader of the Pharma 4.0 Subcommittee within the international CoP, from which she drives digitalization strategies in the pharmaceutical industry.

We will explore real implementation cases in the Pharma industry: Digital Twins, real-time process monitoring (CPV 4.0), and AI use in GMP-regulated environments, aimed at improving quality, flexibility, and sustainability. The session highlights the importance of clearly defining needs before selecting tools, co-creating with all stakeholders (creators and users) to ensure adoption and ROI. These cases will also be contrasted with plant and company digital maturity indexes, assessing current status, gaps, and preparations to become the plant of the future over the next decade.
