Expoquimia paid particular attention to biotechnology and nanotechnology, two techniques that will define the future of the sector. Sustainable chemistry was also a key theme of the event.
The exhibition filled the Gran Via venue with a wide range of scientific and commercial products and speakers of international prestige.
The agreement between the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) and the Fira de Barcelona will bring added value to Expoquimia with the creation of a dedicated exhibition zone in 2011, making it a major meeting place for professionals and companies in the pharmaceutical industry.
The new job vacancies portal (http://quimica.laboris.net/) presented at Expoquimia will provide a service for companies in the sector, professionals working in the chemical industry and chemistry students, as it generates more than 500,000 direct and indirect jobs.
A first for Spain, this exhibition entertainingly explains the pervasive presence of chemistry in our lives. Visit its amazing web!
