Javier García Martínez

Biography

Javier García Martínez is a professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Alicante and director of the Molecular Nanotechnology Laboratory. An international benchmark in catalysis and nanostructured materials, he has promoted more sustainable industrial technologies and founded Rive Technology, a spin-off from his research at MIT. Past president of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), he also stands out for his work in sustainability, AI applied to chemistry, and support for young talent.
