The energy digital twin developed by Almirall in collaboration with Sener enables real-time management of a pharmaceutical plant’s energy mix using artificial intelligence and advanced analytics. By integrating operational and energy data, it optimises efficiency and reduces emissions, highlighting the key role of digitalisation in industrial decarbonisation.

In 2023, Expoquimia launched the Best in Class programme for the first time, as part of the Industry Showcase project. This initiative was created to highlight and give visibility to projects at the forefront of the chemical and process industries.

At Expoquimia26, we’re once again looking for the very best Best in Class. A flagship programme that aims to identify the most disruptive and influential projects within the industrial ecosystem where chemistry plays a leading role. In this new edition, we will select four top-tier national initiatives, recognized for their ability to drive change, create value, and deliver innovative solutions to today’s challenges.
