In 2011, chemistry is going to be showcased all over the world under the slogan of “Chemistry: our life, our future”.
Expoquimia is joining the UN and UNESCO to celebrate the role of chemistry in the development and transformation of the world in which we live.

The International Year of Chemistry has three goals:

• To increase public appreciation of chemistry as an essential tool for meeting the needs of society;
• To encourage interest in chemistry among young people;
• To generate enthusiasm for the creative future of chemistry.
