Organized by the Spanish Plastics Centre, these seminars presented new processes, systems, products and buildings involving composite materials.

The different applications discussed included:

• the bridges of the M-111 at Fuente El Saz de Jarama;
• photocatalysis as a system for destroying VOCs;
• the development of eco-composites using natural, renewable raw materials;
• optimizing IOTs and unique architectural structures using composite materials.
